I had the opportunity to facilitate a yoga retreat at beautiful Vernonia Springs. I am a Certified Baptiste Yoga teacher and have put on, assisted, volunteered, as well as participated, in multitude of retreats, trainings and yoga events. Vernonia Springs was the perfect space for this retreat. The pavilion overlooking the pond where we held class and meditation was magical. We watched Blue Heron’s land around the pond. The property offers many unique benefits such as the ADA bath and shower house, a grass amphitheater and a pavilion-patio area which is great for meetings, yoga etc. A bonus is the “Banks-Vernonia” bike trail that runs right through the property. Great for hiking and biking. Jeff, the owner is awesome and accommodating, making sure everyone has what they need. I knew that I always wanted to have an outdoor retreat in a beautiful place and Vernonia Springs made that dream come true. We love Von-Vinzant Kennels (Seattle-Tacoma). More Importantly  my dog loves staying there. It is clean, safe and very roomy. Our large Irish Setter used to become a really picky eater whenever she was boarded, but Jim and his  staff took extra care with her to eat and relax and enjoy her stay. Now I think she looks forward to a visit and comes home stress free. I would highly recommend Von Vinzant kennels. They really take good care of your pet, and the prices are very reasonable.
